Terms & conditions
1. Who you are contracting with
Your transfer is operated in Sri Lanka. The entity that receives payment is identified on the Legal notice page and on your confirmation email. Where payment is collected by a foreign entity on behalf of the operator, that is stated in the same places.
2. Prices
Prices are per vehicle, not per person, and include fuel, driver, expressway tolls, parking, applicable taxes, air conditioning and bottled water. The price shown at the moment you book is the price charged. Surcharges for night travel, high season, extra stops or child seats are itemised before payment and never added afterwards. Prices in currencies other than Sri Lankan rupees are converted at a rate fixed daily; the rupee amount is the reference.
3. Payment
No payment is taken on this website. After your booking request is registered we send a secure payment link for a deposit of 30% of the total; the balance is payable in cash to the driver or by card on board. Settling the full amount at that stage attracts a 10% reduction. Card payments are processed by a licensed payment provider; we never store card details.
4. Waiting time
Airport pickups include 60 minutes of free waiting from the aircraft’s arrival on stand. Other pickups include 15 minutes. Beyond that, waiting is charged per started hour at the rate shown at booking.
5. Changes and cancellation
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the pickup time, with a full refund of any deposit paid. Within 24 hours the deposit may be retained. Changes to date, time or vehicle are free subject to availability. See the Cancellation policy page.
6. Our obligations and limits
We provide a licensed driver and an insured vehicle in a condition suitable for the journey. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, landslides, strikes or events outside our control, nor for missed onward connections where the departure time chosen did not allow a reasonable margin. Our route pages state realistic driving times precisely so that this margin can be judged.
7. Passenger conduct
The number of passengers and items of luggage must not exceed the capacity of the vehicle booked. Drivers may refuse to carry passengers whose behaviour endangers the vehicle or its occupants. Smoking is not permitted in our vehicles.
8. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of Sri Lanka. Where the customer is a consumer resident in the European Union, mandatory consumer protections of their country of residence are unaffected.
