About Weligama
Weligama is a working town wrapped around a long, sandy bay, and it is where most people in Sri Lanka learn to surf. It has a fish market, a railway station, a bus stand and real traffic on the A2, with the surf schools and guesthouses strung along the beach in front. It is also one of the easiest places on the south coast to reach by road, because the Kokmaduwa interchange of the Southern Expressway (E01) is only a few kilometres inland. Every transfer on this page has a fixed price for the whole vehicle, with the driver, fuel, tolls and parking included, paid in full online by card when you book, with nothing left to pay the driver.
